Today the world is behind replacing their base with Data. Everything We do is mostly being captured in some or other way in the form of data. The smart companies are managing and converting these data to intelligent information to provide comfort to the human brain in our daily activities. e.g. Online Shopping Experience, Alexa- Siri-Cortana, automated reminders, Location Tracking & Maps for Daily Commute Assistance, Health & Fitness Assistance, and lot many…

When it comes to industry, Since years together Machines, Processes, and People are generating lots and lots of data. Out of which Very Few data might be captured digitally or manually and put to use and that too for the immediate and limited purpose of controlling the process of manufacturing the quality product. Many Automated Machines are creating lots of data round the clock while in operations and these data is vanished without being utilized and without even being captured.

It is obvious that now nobody wants to waste the data but there are multiple and sequential problems and challenges.

  • How to capture the data from machines as there is no single plug-n-play device which fits for all?
  • Identify Which data to capture and which to leave? I am investing – So I want everything.
  • Machines do not generate some data and without it the captured data is meaningless?
  • Consistency / Loss of Data.
  • Where to start with?
  • ROI not clearly visible?
  • Choosing the right partner in this journey.

In spite of All the problems and challenges, It is time to realize that it is definitely affordable to capture the huge data flowing in our manufacturing setups of every capacity and put them to intelligent and real-time use.

It is not too far now that our shop-floor people will also be getting sure shot early notifications and regular inputs about the processes and operations to let them make more productive decisions in every sense.
